Choosing the best Meal Plan for you...

LSU Dining Meal Plans are semester-based and designed to offer students convenience, variety and affordability. We offer several Meal Plans with various combinations of Meals and Paw Points that can best suit your needs on campus.  Meal Plans are for anyone and can be shared with family and friends (with the exception of the Unlimited Meal Plan).  The Commuter Meal Plan is great for upper-class students or commuters and gives you the convenience of dining on campus with no shopping, cooking or cleaning!

Meals are served in our newest dining facility, The 459 Commons, with continuous service from 7:00am - 7:00pm Monday through Thursday and 7:00am - 4:30pm on Friday.  Experience Residential Dining at its best with this state-of-the-art facility and exciting menu options!  Highland Dining Hall not far from the LSU Student Union is also available to Meal Plan students for Lunch 10:30am - 2:00pm Monday through Friday and Dinner 4:30 - 7:00 pm Monday through Thursday.  Meals are all-you-care-to-eat and menus can be viewed online for your convenience.

Paw Points are flexible "dining dollars" that can be used at any LSU Dining location on campus including the Tiger Lair Food Court, CC's Coffee, Subway, Atrium Cafe, Pierre's Landing, Mini Mart, Magnolia Room, Faculty Club, PJ's Coffee and more!  They are dollar-for-point spending that make getting a quick snack or meal so easy.

Meal Transfers are available to Meal Plan students in the Tiger Lair Food Court (LSU Student Union) beginning on Friday at 4:30pm, all day Saturday and all day Sunday and for Breakfast 7-days-a-week.  A Meal Plan meal may be swapped for a Meal Transfer combo and one meal will be deducted from the Meal Plan balance instead of the Paw Point balance.  Outtakes at The 459 Commons allows you to do Meal Transfers anytime!  Swap a Meal Plan meal for any Pizza Hut or Taco Bell combo meal!  Hours are 11:00am - 3:00am Monday through Thursday and 11:00 - 4:30pm on Friday.  Breafast Meal Transfers are also offered at Mini Mart on the west side of campus for those students who would like to grab something quick on the way to class.  Visit locations for details or view additional information on the "locations" page of the web site.

Please note that sharing Meals and Meal Transfers do not apply to the UNLIMITED MEAL PLAN!

You may sign up for a Meal Plan anytime through your PAWS account after you are registered for classes. Once you are in your account, simply go to Registration Services, then Additional Services.
