Please submit bid invitations for deliveries 4 weeks in advance for any event that exceeds $500. LSU Dining is able to do any menu item for delivery. There is a $50.00 minimum order for deliveries, however, arrangements may be made through our office for pick up orders. Disposable ware will be used unless otherwise specified. China and glass service is available at an additional cost of $1.00 per person. Please note our miscellaneous charges for delivery fees. Any event held at Lod Cook Alumni Center will include a 10% surcharge in addition to any other applicable fees.
Guarantees & Minimums
When ordering a catered meal the customer must provide the catering office with an estimate of the total guest count. Three working days prior to the working event, the customer must provide a guaranteed minimum guest count for which they will pay. In the event that your guest count exceeds the guaranteed number, we will make every effort to accommodate your needs, although there will be a $2.00 charge per person served over the set original guarantee.
Decor and special effects orders must be guaranteed 14 working days prior to the function. To avoid any additional charges, please inform us if your anticipated guarantee is significantly different from your estimate.
Overrun Charges
Two and a half hours of services are normally provided for catered meals. If there is to be a program during the meal please notify the Catering Office when making serving arrangements. If service is needed beyond 3 hours, there will be a $50 per half hour attendant service fee. Events scheduled during the University holidays and between interim periods or semesters shall require overtime charges.
Catering Policies
Different serving styles are available upon request. Discuss the type of service you need with the catering office. The different types of service are: full service, self service, buffet, delivery, and carry out service.
